This little scope is reasonably wideband, good triggering functionality. Extensive measurement capabilities are quite handy. I wish it had better channel-to-channel isolation, though.

The learning curve was excellent. Our first measurement used all 4 input channels, but I had to look at the documentation to find how to set the probe attenuation. The 50ohm Z input and NTSC option features are also highly useful as a lot of work here involves UHF TV broadcast RF. The A+/-*/ B math (and red measurements results trace) is also a great feature as we also do a lot of differential measurements. I also love the visible triggering level line on the display as well as the various colors to represent each trace. This scope exceeds my expectations in every respect.

We use the TDS-3054 in our lab on a regular basis for most all our testing needs. It has been instrumental in providing data to validate design as well as debugging flaws in our implementation. We cannot perform our work with it.
