Having worked extensively with 20 and 30 k$ scopes, I see the TDS1002B as a great alternative for the everyday lab environment.
The ease of use is remarkable, while still providing several advanced features that are normally only available in high-end scopes.

I bought this scope for hobby use. Since I've been working with tek scopes in the workplace for many years, getting used to the UI was a piece of cake. Also I found the include Signal Express software quite impressive. Overall I feel I got a great, modern, scope for low price.
