I have a DSA70804 scope and I depend on it for DDR2/3 measurements, using 3 Tri-probes P7520. While my designs go up to up to 1600MT/s, the scope, probes, and DDR analysis software can go beyond that. The reports produced leave no doubts as to what issues exist (or not) in the design, with one exception, the DDR analysis software should ask how many xT wait cycles are being used in order to report a failure or not. It assumes 1T and can report a failure even if I designed my DDR memory to work with 2T or higher. Aside from that, it is a highly dependable system that I count on day and day out for all my DDR memory designs.
Advanced Jitter analysis. Definitively it's TDSJIT3 advanced jitter analysis package is one of the best, it breaks down the measured jitter into all its subcomponents, allowing me to quickly determine whether I have a layout improvement opportunity (too much dependent jitter# or whether I need a jitter reducer #too much RMS jitter).
