RICHARDSON, Texas, March 3, 2008 – Tektronix Communications, a leading worldwide provider of communications network management and diagnostics solutions, announced today the selection of its GeoProbe ® Network Assurance monitoring solution by Grameenphone, the largest telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh. GeoProbe, part of Tektronix’ industry-leading Unified Assurance ™ performance monitoring suite, will enable Grameenphoneto provide its customers a higher quality of service.
GeoProbe provides Grameenphone proactive GSM, GPRS and SIGTRAN monitoring, enabling the operator to detect bottlenecks, abnormal situations and performance degradation in real time.
