Offerings, Skilled Staff Key to STAR Award Win
With a customer satisfaction rating of 97.6 - up 10 points from 2006 - it's no surprise the worldwide Customer Service Business Unit (CSBU) recently received its second consecutive SSPA STAR Award from the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA).
The STAR Award is one of the highest honors in the service and support industry. It recognizes innovation, outstanding leadership, and commitment to excellence.
These accomplishments factored into our win:
- Getting closer to customers. More on-site calibration services shortened customer downtime and produced high marks on quality and efficiency.
- Launching a Multi-Vendor Service (MVS) offering. CSBU now acts as a single point of contact in EMEA and the Americas, which partnered with Sypris for U.S. services.
- Immediate customer feedback. An electronic survey gives us more timely and complete feedback.
- A highly-skilled workforce. We added Service Sales resources to give our highly specialized technicians greater interaction with Sales and customers.
The Customer Service & Support team exceeded all its business goals for FY07 and is executing on aggressive growth targets for FY08.
