CaptureVu
Finding a specific error within a transport stream is often complicated and tedious because of the vast amount of data and errors within most transport streams. Isolating a specific error and quickly finding it within a complex transport stream can save time and money. The MTS400 Series provides this solution for both real-time and deferred-time analysis modes. The MTS400 CaptureVu function is easy to setup and use:
Setup - The configuration of a CaptureVu trigger is as simple as right-clicking on the test item or category of items and enabling CaptureVu Breakpoint. Once enabled, the real-time or deferred-time analyzer searches the stream until the Breakpoint is found.
Running - Once the Breakpoint is found, the analyzer will pause, and allow the event to be viewed in any of the display modes.
Rapid Results - The Real-time analyzer makes all measurements in real-time and triggers instantly when a Breakpoint is found. In the case of deferred-time files, the analyzer can run faster than real-time, and can search for a Breakpoint at up to 400 Mbps. Once the Breakpoint has been found, all of the analyzer display modes are available.
Applications - Numerous possibilities exist for CaptureVu. Design engineers can quickly identify the exact point at which a Service Information table syntax error or timing interval error occurs. Broadcast engineers can quickly identify the point at which a broadcast signal has a PCR timing error, or when the bandwidth of a PID exceeds an upper or lower boundary limit.
