Storage Device Design and Measurement
Signal Generation Solutions
The AWG710 arbitrary waveform generator delivers the industry's fastest mixed-signal solution at 2.0 GHz (4.0 Gb/s) to characterize read/write devices with pre-compensated read/write (NLTS) signals.
The DTG5000 Series data timing generator provides multi-channel, high-speed patterns for optical write channel strategies up to 3.35 Gb/s and up to 16 channels with independent level and timing control for the ultimate in performance and versatility.
Both signal sources preserve the signal fidelity of read/write channel signals to minimize the effects of mechanical and physical media noise common to both magnetic and optical storage devices. Each also reliably reproduces red and blue-ray laser diode driver signals to reduce laser burn unique to optical storage devices.
Analog/Mixed Signal Sources
